Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for all administrative tasks assigned by the Procurement Product Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow up on orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery within agreed timelines.
- Manage all outstanding and back-ordered items within the assigned portfolio.
- Process and capture invoices, as well as handle invoice-related claims.
- Assist with updates to the item master and pricing information.
- Provide administrative support at reception when requested.
- Communicate order and product information from suppliers to buyers and telesales team.
- Respond to queries related to Receiving, Procurement, and Warehousing and Stock Management as directed by product managers.
- Get quotations for clearance and transport.
- Required to prepare the necessary transport and permit applications for permit orders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Senior Secondary Certificate (Grade 12).
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Previous experience and a qualification in the Pharmaceutical Wholesale Industry will be advantageous.
- No criminal record.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy.
- Solid understanding of basic mathematics and numerical accuracy.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Logical thinking, persuasiveness, and the ability to deliver presentations confidently.
