Marketer



OVERVIEW
The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining the marketing strategy, driving business growth and identifying new commercial opportunities. Key duties include ensuring the profitability of agreements, developing, implementing and maintaining strategic marketing plans.
This role also encompasses facilitating all marketing aspects of the business, including sales, agreements and client relationship management. The incumbent will be responsible for enhancing brand visibility and ensuring competitive positioning in the market. The incumbent’s role requires deep industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, experienced negotiation skills, business acumen and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and maintain healthy relationships with clients and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree in business Admin, Marketing, Finance, Medical or related fields (MBA or equivalent experience).
- At least 10-15 years’ relevant working experience in Lifestyle, Distribution, Marketing, Commercial, Medical and/or related fields.
- Proven experience in commercial or business development roles.
- Strong Negotiation and people skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent Language skills in English & Afrikaans.
- Analytical, data driven mindset.
- Excellent Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and CRM Software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills to be able to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams towards common goals.
- Applicants must be in good physical and mental condition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The incumbent must identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence within its current market as well as new ventures.
- The incumbent must conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- The incumbent must build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- The incumbent must be in contact with clients, addressing needs and resolving issues timely.
- The incumbent must analyze financial data, to assess the financial health of commercial operations.
- The incumbent must ensure effective marketing of the Company’s product and services portfolio to healthcare professionals, pharmacists and other stakeholders.
